Hello everyone, my name is Wahyuni i am a student of the
Makassar Tourism Polytechnic especially in Diploma 4 Tour And Travel Business
Study Program. This is my first blog and here I want to tell you my experience
on a Marine Field Trip on Dutungan Island and Paputo Beach. because this is my
first experience to diving and snorkeling that is very unforgettable. So
without wasting time, so here is it :)
On the first day on October 10, 2019, all participants
gathered at the Makassar Tourism Polytechnic campus, precisely in front of the
orange building for the distribution of ID cards, luggage tags and attendance. After
that we get on the bus. At 7.00 we left the campus and headed to Dutungan
Island in Barru Regency. During the trip all participants presented the guiding
material in accordance with the destination that we were headed and passed.
At 9:45 we arrived at the Tanjung indah dock. On the Tanjung Indah dock to the dutungan island we used a boat and it
took about 10 minutes. This was a very enjoyable trip and we were all very
excited especially because this was my first experience for diving and snorkeling.
When we arrived in the Dutungan Island we all went straight to change clothes and get
ready. After that instructors from the Dutungan Island explained to us all about
diving and snorkeling equipment.
After the instruction, all participant prepare for
lunch. Then we all dive and snorkel in turns. Enjoy a
beautiful sea view and see a variety of fish and coral reefs. This is my first
experience to try diving even though for some things I felt scared but it was
fun and wanted to try again.
After enjoying and spending time there we get ready to go
back to the dock and then to the Delima Sari Hotel in Pare Pare.
At 7:00 pm all participants gather in the hotel lobby and
get ready for dinner. We had dinner at
Ayam Penyet Ria which is not far from
the hotel. After eating, continue with
the presentation about our assessment and observations on dutungan island and
do a display that can entertain of the talent in each group, before going back
to his room to take rest.
On the second day on October 11, 2019, we walked to the
statue of true love Habibie and Ainun to do morning exercise. And back to the hotel for breakfast and check
out at the hotel and then head to the Paputo beach.
Paputo beach we also conduct observations and continue the
guiding for participants who get material in pare pare.
After observation we all have fun at Paputo beach like
playing swing, taking pictures, singing, and dancing with friends to enjoy the
beautiful views of the Paputu beach.
And the next place we visited was Teras Empang for lunch
while waiting for the men who were doing Friday prayers. Teras Empang is a Cafe & Restaurant in Pare Pare
that offers a beautiful view and we can see the hill from a distance.
After that we returned to the bus and going back to our
beloved Makassar tourism polytechnic campus.
Well i think this all of my experience in Dutungan Island and
Paputo Beach that a very unforgettable and very have fun that i ever had. I am
